Amenities and Features
Swords Beach House is a three bedroom, two bath house with just over 1,600 square feet. Two bedrooms have queen sized beds and the third bedroom has two double beds in a bunkbed setting.
The home is ideal for 6 adults, and it works well for two couples with small children. If
your party exceeds 6 because of children, accommodations can be made.
The house was built on stilts and later a one-bedroom apartment was added on the ground
floor. This unit is rented out on a long-term basis and the tenants do not have access to
the upstairs house or to the pool. The downstairs tenants do share parking
There are three parking spaces, two for weekly rentals and one for long term tenants. All
three parking spaces are under camera control for added security. If you need additional
parking, you will need to make your own accommodations.
The home features a large fully equipped kitchen, a full-size laundry room, and a second
story deck with ocean view. TV’s and internet are provided.
The Location
Laguna Beach is a quiet neighborhood nestled between Panama City Beach and the 30-A
communities. Laguna Beach is one of four locations in Bay County with a Reserved Beach.
While the beach is public, building is not allowed on the beach side of Highway 30. This
enhances your beach experience. The house is located in the first block off of Highway 30
approximately 500 feet from the beach. It’s a short walk or a quick golfcart ride to the sun and
fun.
The Pool
After several hours basking in the beach sun and sand, what’s better than enjoying your own private swimming pool.
For spring or fall renters, the pool can be heated. The pool features a tanning shelf with an in-pool umbrella holder. The surrounding pool patio and yard is quite large and features several sitting areas, a gas grill, a dining area, and an oversized shower with hot water.
The shower is large enough to change your outfit. Moms will enjoy bathing the kids and
dressing them for bed without tracking beach sand into the home. Swimming after dark is a real pleasure and the lighted pool is quite inviting.
